a news clip featuring the Vicente Sotto Memorial Hospital Scandal (as featured in ‘Bandila’)

isang umaga pumunta ako sa office at nakipagdaldalan kaagad sa mga katabi ko…one of them opened up the topic about a gay that was ‘victimized’ by a callboy that inserted a can up his ass…nagulat ako kasi iniisip ko tin can, or anything na de-lata…and then sabi ni Mark na parang body spray nga un. I really didn’t think na lalala yung issue (na parang "wala lang" at makakalimutan na the other day) but i was wrong! last wednesday i stayed late in the office para mag-internet at narinig ko from the lobby itong balitang ito sa TV Patrol, na nagkaroon na ng separate investigation and was calling for doctors involved with the surgi-scandal to be relieved and the students to receive whatever their punishment issupposedly nakagraduate na sila…i was intrigued so i looked it up sa net and watched the video, which was according to the news, still available in youtube for watching.

at nandun pa nga! dinownload yun ng kapatid ko at pinanood pa sa tv namin…the incident happened months ago but the video gained popularity and reached the media just recently. Apparently, the victim was drunk when somebody played a prank on him and called this callboy that did what we all know. Kung ako yung bading, kahit na lasing na ako eh, heller! lasing ako pero hindi manhid no! my mom owns a similar body spray and it was rather big! Hindi lang yung bading or yung hospital ang nasangkot in the scandal - the name of the Philippines was also tarnished because it was gravely unethical for proffesionals to expose the events inside the surgery room…maliban na nga lang sa PBB Teen Edition na pinakitang tinutuli si Alex (with all the PBB boys looking at the procedure, and his’ as well…)

it gained reaction from the public at tinanong pa sa unang hirit (c/o Atty Gaby Concepcion) the legal measures that will be taken with the breach of privacy of the ‘victim’. Even the Malacanang made its effort to dig into this matter! Lalo pa’t may campaign ngayon to boost the Philippine Medical Tourism since competent at cheap daw magpagamot dito sa pinas (cheap, kung ikukumpara sa fees sa US, Europe…) and then a scandal like this would surface?! nako! sana yung video na lang ng pagtutuli kay Alex ang kumalat, no!?
